Roslindale Parade Awards Dinner

Friday, May 2nd, 2008

 The Roslindale Day Parade Committee will host the annual Awards Dinner on Friday, May 2nd, from 7:00 to 11:00 p.m. at St. Nectarios Church in Roslindale Square. The event will feature a catered dinner, the presentation of awards for last year's parade, and entertainment provided by WBZ radio host Mel Simons. Tickets are $20 per person, and can be purchased by calling Tom Donohue 617-327-4886 or at the door of the event itself. All proceeds will go to funding the 2008 Roslindale Parade.

VIEW THE 2007 PARADE ORDER 

With gorgeous weather and an excellent turnout of groups and spectators alike, the 32nd Roslindale Day Parade on October 14th, 2007 was by all accounts a big success. The Committee thanks all who participated for their unbridled spirit and energy.

The Roslindale Day Parade occurs on the first or second Sunday of October every year and has been a neighborhood tradition for over thirty years.

The annual event, which showcases the diversity and beauty of our neighborhood and its residents, is funded in part by grants from the City of Boston's office of Arts, Tourism ,and Special Events, as well as through the financial contributions of the local business community and the fundraising efforts of the non-profit Roslindale Day Parade Committee.

The Advertising Float, decorated with the names of local parade sponsors. Local businesses are one of the primary sources of funding for the parade, so please patronize these establishments!
